We are looking for expressions of interest for officer roles for our new Special Interest Groups (SIGs), launching in September 2024. The four new SIGs focus on: Digital Accessibilty, Digital Assessment, Independent Consultancy & Career Pathways, and Digital Sustainability. We will launch these new SIGs as part of the Annual Conference 2024.

Our 2024 Annual General Meeting will be held in person and online at ALT Annual Conference, 4 September 2024, Manchester, UK.
All Members are encouraged to attend and the AGM is also open to guests and observers. In accordance with the ALT Constitution adopted in 2019, the business of the Annual General Meeting will include: the election of Trustees; approval of accounts and report and decisions on any resolutions.

As you know, ALT has been without a permanent CEO since September last year. Kerry
Pinny, ALT’s Chief Operations Officer, has been acting as Interim CEO in the meantime.
Thanks to the ALT Team, the Board of Trustees and I have been able to take the time to
focus on what ALT needs from its next CEO. ALT celebrated its 30th year in 2023 and we
are now seeking a leader to steer ALT through its next chapter.
Entries for the ALT Awards 2024 are still open until 11 June 2024, meaning there is just over a week to submit your entry. This year’s Awards Ceremony will take place on 4 September, as part of the ALT Annual Conference 2024, held in Manchester.
