The Call for Proposals for this year's ALT Annual Conference is closing soon on Sunday, 13 July 2025. This year’s Annual Conference, taking place in Glasgow on 23–24 October, invites contributions under the theme “Stronger Foundations, Broader Horizons”.
The conference will explore how strong digital foundations can lead to more inclusive, creative, and transformative learning and teaching. We encourage submissions from all sectors, including higher and further education, work-based learning, libraries, charities, healthcare, and beyond.
Proposals are welcome across five sub-themes:
- Back to Basics: Reclaiming the Core – Strengthening inclusive and reliable digital infrastructure.
- Digital by Design: People, Empathy, and Experience – Focusing on human-centred design, wellbeing, and ethical use of AI.
- Learning in Motion: Connecting Pathways, People, and Places – Highlighting cross-sector collaboration and flexible learning journeys.
- Critical Imagination: Questioning and Creating in Digital Spaces – Encouraging creativity and criticality in digital learning.
- Wildcard: Innovation from the Margins – Showcasing unconventional approaches and under-represented voices.
You can also choose from a variety of session formats including workshops, panel discussions, research papers, presentations, digital poster sessions, or showcase your work on the ALTC radio show.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of digital education and connect with a broad community of practice. For your chance to present at ALTC25, submit a proposal by 13 July 2025.
