The ALT Assembly is being set up as the new overarching committee advising the Board of Trustees; see https://www.alt.ac.uk/about-alt/how-we-are-governed/alt-assembly for further information. The Assembly is chaired by the President, Martin Weller, and provides greater representation for Members, and in particular Member groups, within ALT's governance.

The ALT Assembly meets face to face twice a year, once in February and once during ALT's Annual Conference in September.

On Wednesday 20 February 2019 the first meeting will be hosted in the Franklin Building at City University of London. See full details at https://go.alt.ac.uk/2R48Mzz

This meeting will focus on how the new Assembly will work together. Attendees will also work together as part of a think-a-thon facilitated by Bryan Mathers to help shape practical outputs from this year's Annual Survey (https://go.alt.ac.uk/ALTSurvey2018).
