This conversation will explore the role of imagination, emotion and sensory input in creating a meaningful learning experience for students. The inspiration for this workshop comes from two fields: drama as pedagogy, and neuroscience – both viewing student’s own subjectivities, emotions and imagination as integral parts of knowledge construction. Maria Kukhareva will be sharing insights from Testbeds collaboration with Yasmin Sidhwa, creative theatre director, which resulted in a series of drama-infused interdisciplinary approaches. There will be opportunity for participants to contribute to the conversation – expect interactivity!
