ALT Conference

The ALT Conference

The ALT Annual Conference is the UK's main conference for Learning Technologists and one of the largest conferences of its kind. It is held over three days every September, providing a valuable and practical forum for practitioners, researchers, managers and policy-makers from education and industry to solve problems, explore, reflect, influence and learn.

The Annual Conference of the Association for Learning Technology will take place from 9 to 11 September 2020 in London, UK. As the leading professional body for Learning Technology in the UK, ALT brings together professionals to disseminate research, share practice and develop policy since 1993.

Previous conferences

The 26th ALT Annual Conference 2019 took place at the University of Edinburgh, UK, from 3-5 September 2019. It aimed to confront and challenge established assumptions, approaches and accepted truths in relation to key dimensions of digital education, and advance our practice and thinking through critical dialogue and reflection, closer scrutiny of evidence and theory, and a stronger commitment to values including creativity, community, social good, openness and porosity, and more democratic access to knowledge and learning.. You can find more information about the conference, including the full programme and recordings of keynote and invited speakers, from the dedicated website: https://altc.alt.ac.uk/2019/.
