ALT Community Call: Vivien Rolfe on living and working in the open

For next ALT Community Call we speak with Vivien Rolfe Associate Head of Department, University of the West of England. Vivien has many accolades including National Teaching Fellow, Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and ALT Learning Technologist of the Year. Vivien is also well known for her work in the open education sector and as well as directing a number of open educational resource projects she is involved in a number of other initiatives including OER World Map, Go Open and is Open Education SIG co-chair.

In this call we talk to Vivien about some of her recent work in open educational resources and her outlook on this area. We will also be finding out more about Vivien’s recent return to ALT Learning Technologist of the Year Awards as a judge and any tips she has for people considering entering next year’s award.
