Opening of the ALT Annual Survey 2019

ALT Annual Survey 2019

Today we are opening the ALT Annual Survey 2019.

The survey has now been run annually since 2014 and a number of questions around priority areas have remained unchanged providing an insight into how Learning Technology is used across sectors as well as identifying emerging trends in current a future practice.

This survey provides important insight into how our profession is developing and how our Members are progressing and developing in their professional practice.

Who should complete this survey?

If you are a Member of ALT we encourage you strongly to complete the survey yourself, even if you work for a member organisation. Representatives of member organisations are welcome to complete the survey once on an individual basis and also on behalf of their organisation.

While this Annual Survey is primarily aimed at ALT Members it is open to anyone to complete.

Help shape ALT’s next strategy

This year's survey also forms part of our consultation for ALT's 2020-2025 strategy. We will use the results of this survey to inform the work of ALT for the coming strategy period, what we prioritise and how we put our shared values into practice.

Find out more about what we have achieved in the ALT Impact Report 2017-20

What happens to the data we collect?

Results of the survey are openly published each year in spring. The survey forms the basis of important strategic insights for Members, and this past year we have expanded reporting from the survey to include a new gender perspective on professional practice in Learning Technology. Both the ALT Annual Survey and anonymised survey responses are shared openly in the ALT Repository

Deadline for responses - 12 January 2019

The survey is open for responses now at https://go.alt.ac.uk/ALTSurvey2019 and will close on 12 January 2019
