This year, AmplifyFE celebrates a remarkable five-year journey of connecting and uplifting professionals across FE, Skills and vocational education. Since its launch in October 2020, the AmplifyFE network, led in partnership by the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) and Ufi VocTech Trust, has grown into a thriving community enabling thousands of educators to share, collaborate and learn together.
AmplifyFE was born out of a vision to strengthen communities of practice and support digital teaching, learning, and assessment in FE and vocational education. Over the past half-decade, it has connected hundreds of communities of practice, amplifying the events and work they do. The AmplifyFE Newsletter has promoted hundreds of webinars, workshops, and calls to action from across the network, all collectively curated via the AmplifyFE FE Diary of Events.
The AmplifyFE Community Space has worked with over 100 members to share their knowledge and expertise via our blog, podcast and webinar series, tackling everything from immersive learning and accessibility to AI pedagogy and digital collage.
To mark the milestone, ALT and Ufi VocTech Trust are launching a report celebrating the impact of AmplifyFE at the ALT Annual Conference.
As AmplifyFE looks ahead, its mission remains clear: to catalyse change at scale and equip educators with the tools and confidence to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Here’s to five years of community, collaboration and impact and to many more horizons yet to be explored.
