ALTC returns to Scotland for the first time since 2019

In October 2025, the ALT Annual Conference returns to Scotland for the first time since 2019. It will take place in the city of Glasgow on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 October

The last Annual Conference held in Scotland was six years ago, hosted in Edinburgh. ALTC25 marks a special moment for the ALT community, bringing the conference back to a region with a strong tradition of collaboration and innovation in learning technology. Scottish institutions have consistently played a key role in the conference, contributing year after year to its vibrant programme and community spirit.

Scottish institutions are leading the way in learning technology, and this year’s event showcases the value of regional engagement and shared practice. Returning to Glasgow in 2025 will provide an opportunity to strengthen connections, celebrate local leadership, and inspire new conversations across sectors.

Set in the heart of Glasgow, ALTC25 will bring together educators, technologists, researchers, and leaders from across sectors. With the theme “Stronger Foundations, Broader Horizons”, we’ll explore how technology-enhanced learning is evolving and where it’s headed next.
