We are taking action to support ALT Members who are taking part in forthcoming strike action at universities in the UK, from 1st - 3rd December 2021.

We have reviewed our activities and events as well as deadlines for participation as follows:

• Reviewed all deadlines for the ALT Winter Conference;

• Reviewed all deadlines for the the Learning Technologist of the Year Awards;

• Meeting of the ALT Assembly, 1 December, is now a social catch up and no formal business will be transacted;

• Meeting of the blog editorial team, 2 December, has been cancelled. 

Whilst we continue to provide membership services to Members from across sectors in the UK and internationally we are glad to re-arrange meeting dates and support our Members taking part in the strike during this week in other ways. Please contact us if you require support or further information.

The Association for Learning Technology is an independent, charitable membership body which represents individual and organisational Members from all sectors. 

Independence is one of our core values. ALT is solely being funded from membership and events income, and in February 2018 ALT became a fully independent organisation. As an independent charity ALT maintains strong connections with Higher Education Institutions as well as other sectors, sector bodies, membership organisations and unions.
