ALTC Returns to Manchester: ALT’s first CPD Accredited Event!

#ALTC24, Annual Conference, 3-5 September 2024, Manchester

The Association for Learning Technology (ALT) is excited to be hosting the ALT Annual Conference in Manchester from 3 - 5 September 2024. This unmissable event marks a significant milestone for the conference and its participants, as it is the very first ALT event offering formal CPD accreditation.

Date: Tuesday 3 September 2024 - Thursday 5 September 2024

Location: Radisson Blu Manchester Airport Hotel, Manchester, UK and Online 

This year, the conference is Co-Chaired by Diane Bennett, Teaching and Learning Manager (Distance Learning) at The University of Manchester, and Scott Farrow, Head of Digital Learning at Edge Hill University. 

Promising to be a dynamic and enriching experience, the ALTC24 Programme features three keynotes, and over 100 sessions including interactive workshops, research papers and thought-provoking discussions on the latest trends and advancements in educational technology. As well as first-class learning opportunities, ALTC24 offers a wealth of opportunities for delegates to connect with peers; 

  • After the sessions close on Tuesday, delegates can head to the exhibition area for a soft drink or a glass of wine. A perfect time to unwind and reflect on what they’ve learned during the day.
     
  • On Wednesday, ALT will announce the winners of the ALT Awards 2024 at the conference Gala Dinner. This is a ticketed event included in the 3-day conference pass. Gala Dinner tickets can be purchased here.
     
  • Throughout the conference, delegates can connect with industry leaders and engage with Exhibitors in our fully booked Exhibition space. We are excited to have an exciting array of sponsors and exhibitors at this year’s event including our headline sponsor,  Anthology
     
  • NEW FOR 2024! The Thursday Night Show (TTNS) is partnering with ALT to provide a full parallel track of conference radio programming.
