New CMALT holders awarded at the ALT Annual Conference

CMALT Ceremony

Newly accredited CMALT holders were celebrated at the ALT CMALT Ceremony earlier this month, as part of the Annual Conference 2023.  The ceremony celebrated Certified Members of ALT attending the conference, who have achieved or renewed their CMALT accreditation in the last year, or during the pandemic for those who hadn't had a chance to attend an in-person ceremony. Alongside Certified Members of ALT, Associate Certified Members of ALT and Senior Certified Members of ALT were also awarded.

The ceremony forms part of ALT’s strategic work to strengthen professional recognition for Learning Technology professionals and reward commitment to reflective practice and continued professional development.

CMALT, our Certified Membership scheme, is a peer-based professional accreditation scheme developed by ALT to enable people whose work involves learning technology to have their experience and capabilities certified by peers and to demonstrate that they are taking a committed and serious approach to their professional development. We offer three strands of the accreditation, Associate CMALT, CMALT, and Senior CMALT. If you think you might be interested, find out more, visit our website or contact cmalt@alt.ac.uk

If you are a current CMALT candidate looking to submit your portfolio, please note that the submission window is currently open until 29 September. The next window will be in January 2024.

Congratulations to all our newly accredited CMALT holders!
