Doug Gowan Memorial Fund for FE and skills
The Doug Gowan memorial fund for learning and skills CPD in Learning Technology supports 10 individuals from the further education, learning and skills sector to achieve CMALT accreditation. Funded places (which cover the registration fee, normally £150) will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Successful candidates need to submit their portfolio for assessment by 30 September 2017, and will be invited to add their portfolios to ALT's growing showcase of CMALT portfolios to help with the wider effort to support and promote CPD in Learning Technology across the sector. We encourage interest from early career applicants. Please see further information for how to apply or email firstname.lastname@example.org .
We currently offer the following:
- Group registrations: discounts can be arranged for group registrations from ALT member organisations ONLY. Groups of five or more are eligible for a 10% fee discount per individual, and groups of ten or more for a 20% discount per individual. To discuss a group registration, please email CMALT@alt.ac.uk.
- Membership and CMALT offer for Blended Learning Consortium members: please see further information.
- Blended Learning Essentials route to CMALT accreditation: in order to provide a route to CMALT accreditation for course participants, the BLE course curriculum has been mapped to the CMALT framework. A preferential rate for registration is offered to course participants who register before 31 January 2017, with a 20% discount on the registration fee (£119 instead of the usual £150). In order to quality for the reduced rate you will have to be a registered participant on the Blended Learning Essentials course. You can register here.
- Unemployed candidates: the initiative is open to individuals who are members of ALT and currently unemployed. Eligible candidates are entitled to register for CMALT at a discount of one third, that is £100 instead of the usual £150. If a candidate gains employment during the registration period, the remainder of the normal, non-funded fee will fall due.
