OER24 Call for Proposals close on Sunday 12 November

Don't miss your chance to submit your proposal for OER24: Digital Transformation in Open Education. Just three days remain to apply by the deadline of Sunday, 12th November (23:59 anywhere in the world).

Heading to Cork for the first time, OER will take place at Munster Technological University on 27-28 March 2024. The conference will put the spotlight on Open Education practices through five themes and we are seeking papers on thees areas:

  • Open Education Landscape and Transformation
  • Equity and Inclusion in OER
  • Open Source and Scholarly Engagement
  • Ethical Dimensions of Generative AI and OER Creation 
  • Innovative Pedagogies and Creative Education

A message from your Co-Chairs, Dr Gearóid Ó Súilleabháin and Dr Tom Farrelly:

As your co-chairs and on behalf of this year’s organising committee, it is our immense pleasure to extend a Céad Míle Fáilte (100,000 welcomes) to you for the OER24 conference which will be held on the Bishopstown Campus of the Munster Technological University in Cork City, Ireland. We are thrilled to able to bring together educators, researchers, policy makers, and innovators from around the globe to celebrate the power of open education in all its forms. We are eager to share with you our contemporary, vibrant and innovative campus and keen also for you to experience the beautiful and vibrant county and city of Cork (known to locals as the true capital of Ireland!). The OER conference is a great opportunity to talk, share, encourage, learn and collaborate in a convivial supportive and fun environment.
