The #WeekofVocTech is a free programme of in-person and online events exploring the role of digital technology in vocational training and celebrating its impact on learners, employers, training providers and society as a whole.
We are proud to partner with Ufi VocTech Trust and part of our work together is the AmplifyFE Communities of Practice Sector Audit, first published in 2020, which provides up-to-date data of existing networks and communities that support teaching and learning, the use of technology, and subject specialism in the vocational education and training sector.
We invite you to join us later today, as we discuss what has changed in the Communities of Practice that are active in Further Education and Vocational Education during the launch event at the Week of VocTech.
This years audit research will be presented online at 4pm and immediately followed by a Twitter chat at 4:30pm to discuss the research using the hashtag #AmplifyFE.
The session is free to attend and open to all, and you can register now.
AmplifyFE Communities of Practice Sector Audit
AmplifyFE launched in October 2020 and already connects 1800+ professionals in Further Education and Vocational Education, providing a strong networking community for them to share, collaborate and learn. This year’s audit provides a full new dataset and key findings, charting important changes to the sector landscape, including which communities have stopped or started their activities.
The Communities of Practice we audited include online community groups and networks around a common theme or interest such as Research, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), ESOL etc set up by sector bodies and technology companies as well as independent groups run by individuals or groups of practitioners.
