Get Creative - Take the OER17 Media Challenge

Ticket

Last year the OER16 conference committee invited you to create images that we could use to promote the event. We liked the results so much that we invite you to impress us again by letting your creative energies flow for #OER17: The Politics of Open.

This year we are broadening the brief and invite you to submit engaging images, video or other creative media that we can use on social media and on our website to promote our conference. We already think the conference is pretty awesome but you can help us take it to new heights with fantastic imagery and multimedia that will sum up the conference and our themes beyond words.

Unlike last year, we will be running the Media Challenge as a fun competition with a range of ‘disappointing’ prizes up for grabs; entries will also be displayed on our website in a similar fashion to last year’s favourites and we will acknowledge you as the author wherever we use your entry for promotional purposes. All entries will be reviewed by our judges, the conference co-chairs Josie Fraser and Alek Tarkowski. Winners will be announced at OER17,  taking place in London from 5 to 6 April.

Details for your entry

All the details about the conference are on our website: https://oer17.oerconf.org/.

If you’d like to incorporate the OER17 logo, you can find various file formats in this folder.

We recommend that video entries are less than 2 minutes. You’ll also need to find a place to host your video that we can link to.

If possible, please use a Creative Commons licence attribution on your entry.

Tweet your entries to @OERConf using the hashtags #oer17 and #oer17comp.

The closing date for entries is 31 March 2017.
