The Association for Learning Technology (ALT) is delighted to share the schedule of events for CMALT Week 2025, 28 April - 2 May, a week long event dedicated to celebrating the CMALT Accreditation Framework,  supporting CMALT candidates and assessors, and welcoming new certified members. 

The CMALT Accreditation Framework offers pathways to peer-assessed accreditation for Learning Technology professionals both in the UK and internationally. It caters to professionals who are actively involved in understanding, managing, researching, supporting, or enabling learning through the use of Learning Technology.

CMALT Week will feature a series of interactive sessions, webinars, and social activities designed to provide invaluable support and insights for those on their CMALT journey or looking to start one. 

Here's a look at the exciting line-up of events:

Monday 28 April 2025

  • One to One Drop In Sessions with Assessors | 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM
    Hosted by various assessors and overseen by our Professional Development Manager, these 25-minute one-to-one sessions are designed to help CMALT candidates with their portfolios, pathway decisions, or any other elements of the accreditation scheme.   • BlueSky Chat  | 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM
    Join us for an engaging and informative CMALT Q&A on BlueSky. Whether you're just starting your CMALT journey or are a seasoned candidate, our Professional Development Manager will answer your questions, share insights, and offer guidance on all things CMALT.   • The Coffee Break: CMALT Week Special | 11:00 -11:30 AM
    Are you struggling to start your CMALT portfolio? Want to get suggestions or feedback from a wide network of other CMALT holders? Come along to The Coffee Break to talk through your CMALT challenges or simply to network. After all, a problem shared is a problem halved (or maybe solved.)
     

Friday 2 May 2025 

  • Maintaining CMALT status: reviewing your portfolio | 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
    Keeping your CMALT portfolio up to date is a key part of your commitment to continued professional development (CPD) and you are required to submit an updated portfolio every 3 years. In this session, we will provide an overview of what the portfolio review involves, discuss experiences of writing the portfolio review and hear from ALT about how the portfolio is reviewed.
