Call to get involved: Join ALT's CMALT Committee

In response to the growing number of Certified Members and CMALT Assessors, ALT plans to launch a CMALT Committee in 2024.

The committee will contribute to the improvement of the CMALT accreditation scheme and assessment process, and we are currently looking for Members to form this committee.

We are seeking up to 15 committee members, who will each be appointed for a three year term. To be eligible to join the committee, you need to be a Certified Member of ALT in good standing, holding ACMALT, CMALT, or SCMALT. ALT will select Members from the applications received in line with the composition of the committee.

Members of the CMALT Committee will be appointed to:

  • Represent ALTs Members, CMALT candidates, and assessors;
  • Contribute to the development of ALT’s CMALT accreditation scheme and assessment process;
  • Share feedback and experiences that will help the development and improvement of the scheme;
  • Feedback on proposed developments and changes to the scheme.
     

Committee meetings are scheduled to take place twice a year, in May and October, with planned dates for 2024 set for May 9 and October 15. The full Terms of Reference can be found here.
