OER20 Conference: Call for proposals now open

Dear Members

We are delighted to announce that the OER20 Call for Proposals in now
open. The deadline for submissions is 1 December 2019.

The 11th annual OER conference for Open Education research, practice and
policy will be co-chaired by Mia Zamora, Daniel Villar-Onrubia and Jonathan
Shaw. Read more about the conference co-chairs

The conference will be held from 1-2 April 2020, in London, and is themed
around Care In Openness. Covering issues of privilege, equity, precarity,
power relations and public interest, OER20 will put the spotlight on both
the value and limitations of care in open education. [...]

The next Annual General Meeting will take place at 16.30 on Wednesday, 4
September 2019, during the ALT Annual Conference at the University of
Edinburgh, UK.

This is an important moment for our Members each year and the agenda
includes the Annual Accounts and Report, presented by the Honorary
Treasurer, the results of this year's Trustee Elections and the appointment
of ALT's next Vice-Chair as well as the award of Honorary Life Membership
of ALT. The AGM will close with the CMALT Ceremony, celebrating all Members

2019 Call for nominations for Honorary Life Membership

We award Honorary Life Membership to individuals whom we believe have made
an outstanding and sustained contribution to the advancement of ALT's aims
for the development of Learning Technology in a regional, national or
international context through research, practice, policy-development,
leadership, or a combination of these.

We encourage nominations from all sectors and invite you to help us
recognise those individuals who have made a difference and whom you would
