Noteable allows you to create teaching and assessment materials with coding elements in a variety of programming languages that can be run in a browser from anywhere, anytime. <p>This ALT Scotland event will bring practitioners together from across sectors to share their experiences of strategy, practice and policy in learning technology. The day will be hosted by University of Glasgow online via Zoom.</p>
<p>This online meeting will run in ‘flipped’ format, with <a href="https://flipgrid.com/25a5af2e">delegates invited to contribute Flipgrid videos</a> in advance to share their experiences of the transition to remote-to-blended learning, teaching and assessment. </p>
<p>Contributors to the FlipGrid will be selected for panels during the live event, representing school, FE and HE sectors, and use of tools and technologies. Panels will be chaired by members of the ALT Scotland committee who will also give a short overview presentation at the start of each panel discussion.</p>
<p>The ALT perspective will be provided by Martin Hawksey and Debbie Baff at the start and end of the meeting.</p>
<p>During a virtual lunch, participants will be invited to participate in a breakout room discussion, the outcomes of which will be shared via Padlet.</p>
<p>The meeting will be recorded, and all resources created during the event will be shared via the ALT event page.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://altc.alt.ac.uk/summit2020/" style="text-decoration:none">ALT Online Summer Summit 2020</a> will bring together Learning Technology practitioners, researchers and policy makers to share strategies for the next academic year and the new challenges now facing us.</p>
<p>Organised by the leading professional body for Learning Technology in the UK, the Summer Summit will bring together leaders, researchers and practitioners from across sectors. With a packed programme over 2 days we will explore the themes of crisis, care and complexity. The Summit has an international line up of featured speakers, practical sessions and panel discussions on topics ranging from assessment to student wellbeing. </p>
<p>The <a href="http://altc.alt.ac.uk/summit2020/programme/" style="text-decoration:none">programme</a> for the summit will be made up of sessions with a practical focus on support, sharing expertise and networking. We will also include a special “jobs board” feature to champion recruitment and the new Members Directory of consultants and external services as well as strategic/leadership discussion.</p>
<p>ALT’s members are invited to attend this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held online at 10am (BST) on 24 June 2020. The AGM will be open to all and all eligible Members will receive joining instructions and information about how to vote the week prior to the AGM.</p>
<p>The Agenda for the AGM will be issued at least two weeks prior to the meeting. All papers for the AGM and related information will be published on our dedicated <a href="https://www.alt.ac.uk/about-alt/how-we-are-governed/agm">Annual General Meeting page</a> and circulated to those registered to attend.</p>
<p>The quorum for the AGM is twenty-five members of at least 12 months’ standing. Individual and Certified members and the representatives of organisational members have one vote each (Associate Members are not eligible to vote). </p>
<p><strong>Registration for voting Members closes 17 June 2020 at 10am BST to allow us to circulate AGM papers and voting information</strong>. Registrations will remain open until 24 June 2020 for observers.</p>
