"As the Chair of the leading professional body for Learning Technology in the UK, it is a great pleasure to introduce this report on the impact we have made over the past three years.
As you will see, the Association has grown in size and influence, serving our Members in all parts of the UK.
Close my heart is our commitment to being an open organisation which reaches from our governance and leadership to marketing and communications.
On behalf of the Department for Education, we are encouraging ALT Members from across sectors to take part in these new initiatives that form part of the nationa EdTech Strategy.

The Call for Proposals for ALT’s Annual Conference 2019 is now open for you to contribute to the critical dialogue we seek to foster on technology in education and its political, social and economic context.The conference takes place 3-5 September 2019, University of Edinburgh.

The ALT Learning Technologist of the Year Awards celebrate and reward excellent research and practice and outstanding achievement in Learning Technology. Established in 2007, the Awards have established a benchmark for outstanding achievement in Learning Technology on a national scale and attract competitive entries from the UK and internationally. All entries are reviewed by an independent judging panel chaired by the President of ALT.

We about to embark on the third and final year of ALT’s Strategy 2017-2020. Together we have made strong, strategic progress putting our shared values into practice and meet our aims for Members and for public benefit, too.

ALT's Annual Survey is open for responses until 14 January 2019. The survey has now been run annually since 2014 and a number of questions around priority areas have remained unchanged providing an insight into how Learning Technology is used across sectors as well as identifying emerging trends in current a future practice.
