This course, commissioned and funded by the Ufi Charitable Trust is designed specifically for the Vocational Education and Training sector.

ILTA and ALT announce new initiative

ILTA and ALT are pleased to announce a new joint initiative to evaluate the CMALT programme in terms of personal professional development and appropriateness for the Irish TEL community. 
 
As part of this initiative we are offering 10 free places to ILTA Members to undertake CMALT and submit their portfolios for assessment by 1 February 2018. In return ILTA asks that ILTA Members wishing to participate commit to the following deliverables: 
1. That you co-author a report on your CMALT experience

Blended Learning Essentials accreditation via CMALT

This week we are seeing the start of the Futurelearn course Blended Learning Essentials: Getting started - A free course for the Vocational Education and Training sector to promote effective practice and pedagogy in blended learning. The course is open to all and by the end of the course, you’ll be able to:

  • use a range of effective blended learning practices and pedagogies to improve your learners’ experience and attainment

Development day for ALT staff team - 6 July

Members of ALT and the wider community should note that we will be closed for a staff development day on Wednesday, 6 July 2016. Our staff team will be focusing on development activities for a day in the run up to ALT's Annual Conference in September. We will try and minimise any disruption to our normal operations and respond to enquiries as quickly as possible the following day.
