ALT Assembly Meeting 3 September 2019, 17.00-18.00

 

The next meeting of the Assembly takes place next week at ALT’s Annual Conference, Tuesday, 3 September 17.00 – 18.00 in McEwan Hall. This will be the second face to face meeting of ALT’s Members Assembly.

CMALT Award Ceremony 2019

CMALT Principles

After the success of last year, we will once again hold the CMALT Award Ceremony at this year’s ALT Annual Conference 2019. The ceremony will celebrate Certified Members of ALT (CMALT holders) attending the conference who have achieved or renewed their CMALT accreditation in the last year.

Join us on Thursday 22 August 2019 for a special guest webinar, the next in our series of webinars with the Further Higher Education Digital Accessibility Working Group (FHEDAWG). This time we are joined by Greg Gay, as he hosts his webinar 'Digital Accessibility as a right'. Greg Gay is IT Accessibility Specialist at Ryerson University and shares this project from the Creative Commons Global Summit.

Lisa Mclaughlin is a 2019 graduate from the B.A.(Hons) Textile Design course at Hereford College of Arts. She was delighted to win the ALT award-making competition this year. This article gives you some information about Lisa’s work, and hints at what the awards will look like (they are currently under production). To give you a clue about the source of the print on the awards, this short post gives a little bit of information about Lisa’s practice.
