Scholarships are available to support individuals who may face financial barriers to attending OER26: Openness Reimagined: Continuity, Change and Shared Vision. These awards are intended for unfunded participants who would otherwise be unable to take part in the conference.
The scholarship will cover the cost of registration only. Delegates will need to arrange and fund their own travel and accommodation if applicable.
Who Can Apply?
- Scholarship places are available to support individuals based anywhere in the world.
- This scholarship option is intended for individuals who do not receive funding from any organisation, whether as an employee, student or researcher.
- The funds available to cover registration costs are limited, and awards will be made on merit.
- There is no appeal procedure once a decision has been made.
- You may be required to provide evidence of your circumstances (e.g. confirmation of student status, line manager’s letter).
- Any inaccuracy in the description of your circumstances will result in the award being withdrawn.
- If you are awarded a scholarship but are unable to attend, you must inform us as soon as possible.
- Please note that scholarships cover registration only; delegates must arrange and fund their own travel and accommodation.
