What we value - Independence

We have now published ALT's written response submitted by Dr Maren Deepwell, chief executive, on behalf of the Association for Learning Technology, registered charity number 1160039. 

Our response is focused on the case studies and input provided by ALT Members. Many of ALT’s Member Institutions have also submitted individual responses.

After the success of last year, we will once again hold the CMALT Award Ceremony at this year’s ALT Annual Conference 2019. The ceremony will celebrate Certified Members of ALT (CMALT holders) attending the conference who have achieved or renewed their CMALT accreditation in the last year. 

 

ALT Annual Survey open for responses until 14 January 2019

ALT's Annual Survey is open for responses until 14 January 2019. The survey has now been run annually since 2014 and a number of questions around priority areas have remained unchanged providing an insight into how Learning Technology is used across sectors as well as identifying emerging trends in current a future practice.

2018 Annual General Meeting

The next Annual General Meeting will take place at 16.45 on 12 September 2018 at Manchester Place, the University of Manchester, UK during the ALT Annual Conference 2018. All Members are encouraged to attend the AGM and AGM passes can be arranged for anyone not attending the conference. If you are unable to attend in person please make full use of the proxy voting arrangements.

CMALT assessors

CMALT Holders (Certified Members of ALT) act as assessors. Once you have completed three assessments as a second Assessor you can become a Lead Assessor.

Building on the highly successful Blended Learning Essentials series of MOOCs, the third course, entitled ‘Developing Digital Skills,’ has just been launched and will start on 2 October. This course, commissioned and funded by the Ufi Charitable Trust is designed specifically for the Vocational Education and Training sector.
