ALT and RLT are pleased to announce a Call for Papers for an update to the Special Collection on ‘Mobile Mixed Reality Enhanced Learning'.

Mobile Mixed Reality (MMR) is a rapidly developing technology that is being implemented in many different learning environments. A lot has changed already since the publication of our 2018 Special Collection on MMR, and this update to the 2018 special collection on MMR for 2019 will highlight the latest research in this domain.

We are delighted to announce the return of the ALT Online Winter Conference and with it the call for proposals. The event, now in its fourth year, takes place online on 12 and 13 December and is an opportunity for ALT Members to showcase some of their work, create new resources and gain feedback from other Members and an international audience. The format of the event is designed to be multimodal, combining both asynchronous and synchronous activities.

We are delighted to announce that the #OER18: Open to All Call for Proposals has now been published. The 9th Open Educational Resources Conference, OER18: Open to All, will be held from 18 to 19 April 2018 in Bristol. The conference themes for submission this year are:

We are pleased to be joined by two outstanding keynote speakers for this year’s Annual Conference.

The second Playful Learning conference, based at Manchester Metropolitan University and organised in conjunction with the ALT Playful Learning SIG (formerly Games and Learning SIG), will be running from 12 to 14 July 2017. Playful Learning is pitched at the intersection of learning and play for adults.

The ALT Annual Conference 2016, “Connect, Collaborate, Create”, will be held at the University of Warwick, 6 – 8 September 2016.
