New ALT Strategy: have your say (open discussion 2)

Registration is closed for this event

ALT will be launching its next strategy, for 2017-2020, in February 2017. Following December’s  update for members , the consultation process on the new strategy is underway, including the symposium on Learning Technology in Higher and Further Education hosted at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills in May. ALT’s Operational Committees will meet for a strategy day in October and this year’s Annual Survey will be expanded to include a section on the new strategy.

We will be running three lunchtime drop in sessions attended by Trustees and senior staff who will share progress made with the current strategy, listen to your ideas and suggestions and discuss issues.

  • Session 1 (October): short presentation about the current strategy, progress made and key questions to think about (You can watch the video of the presentation via this link: https://youtu.be/PHwR205QBQw)
  • Session 2 (November): drop in for Members for discussing ideas (not recorded, open discussion, all welcome. We suggest you watch the video of session 1 before participating)
  • Session 3 (December): drop in for Members for discussing ideas (not recorded, open discussion, all welcome. We suggest you watch the video of session 1 before participating)

If you are unable to come along, we have also set up this ‘suggestion box’ which enables anyone to make a suggestion for the next strategy, including any new membership services or benefits we should consider, strategic priorities or personal reflections. Your input will help inform the consultation process and we are grateful for your suggestions.

This event will be delivered as part of the ALT Online Winter Conference 2016 as a Blackboard Collaborate session.
