The OER22 programme takes place over three days, 26-28 April 2022. The first day of the event will take place in London, UK, and the second and third day of the event will take place online.
Over the course of this week, 07 - 11 March, we come together with the global community to advocate for openness in education and to celebrate the success of the Open Education movement in improving access to and quality of education worldwide.
We are proud to announce that the next OER Conference, ALT's annual conference for Open Education research, practice and policy, will be co-chaired by the Global OER Graduate Network.
The Global OER Graduate Network (GO-GN) is a network of PhD and EdD candidates around the world whose research projects include a focus on open education (i.e. OER, OEP, MOOC). These doctoral researchers are at the core of the network; around them, over two hundred experts, supervisors, mentors and interested parties connect to form a community of practice.
In October a joint statement on access to e-book and e-textbook content was published by SCONUL in conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP), the #ebooksSOS campaign, Jisc, the National Acquisitions Group (NAG), Research Libraries UK (RLUK) and the UK purchasing consortia APUC and SUPC.
We are seeking experienced Co-Chairs for the 2022 Conference Committee of the 13th annual conference for Open Education research, practice and policy. The Co-Chairs will play a major role in planning and delivery of the conference in 2022.
The Call for Proposals for the #OERxDomains21 Conference has now been extended to 10 February 2021.
The conference will put the spotlight on both the value and limitations of Open Education in a (post)pandemic world. We are particularly keen to hear from people who have an interest in the following indicative areas of practice:
Organised by the Association for Learning Technology and partnership with Reclaim Hosting’s Domains Conference, this special edition of the much loved event is the 12th annual conference for Open Education research, practice and policy. We are proud to incorporate a special strand hosted by the Domains Conference - bringing our two communities closer together in 2021.
