Our call for Committee Members for the 2025 Open Education Conference is open. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the programme and contribute to the success of the event. Being on the conference committee is a significant professional development opportunity, as well as evidence of ongoing development, which can contribute to CMALT, AdvanceHE Fellowship applications, and other certifications.
The Association for Learning Technology (ALT) is issuing a reminder that the Call for Proposals for OER26 closes on Monday, 13 April at midnight. The conference, taking place at The Open University, UK, from 22–23 June 2026 in Milton Keynes will explore the theme “Openness Reimagined: Continuity, Change and Shared Vision.”
We are extending the deadline for expressions of interest by two weeks until Monday, 9 March, to ensure that all Members who wish to contribute have the opportunity to do so. As we start the new year, we want to remind you that registration for ALTC25 Revisited is still open. This one‑day online event, taking place on 25 February 2026, builds on the momentum of the ALT Annual Conference 2025 and offers an opportunity for the community to come back together, revisit key themes, explore new insights, and continue the conversations that began in Glasgow last October.
