M25 Spring 2026 Digital Transformation

This hyrbid events will take place at the University of Roehampton and online.

The digital education landscape has always been in motion, but right now, it feels like the pace has accelerated to an entirely new level, and towards outcomes we can’t yet fully predict. From hype cycles and uncertain policy futures to VLE migrations, contract re-negiotiation, cost‑saving pressures, and the rapid rise of AI, institutions are navigating a period of significant and sometimes unsettling transition. In the midst of this, learning technology professionals are increasingly being asked not only to respond, but to shape, influence, and even lead organisational change and digital transformation. We invite proposals that explore:

- New initiatives and strategic planning for upcoming shifts in digital education.

- Change management, including navigating difficult transitions and engaging stakeholders.

- Evaluating emerging technologies, procurement approaches, and meaningful metrics.

- Sharing successes and challenges from projects of any scale. General contributions related to digital practice, innovation, or sector‑wide change that support reflection, discussion, or professional development.
