We invite you to attend the Digital Exams and Paper Script Scanning webinar from The Digital Assessment Special Interest Group on 28 January, 13:00 - 14:30. Three speakers will share the conversations that are taking place at their institutions around the challenges and opportunities of using paper script scanning as a form of digitising examinations, under such themes as:
- Institutional adoption of the digitisation of paper scripts.
- Case studies from trials of paper script scanning.
- The integration of AI marking into paper script scanning.
- Case studies on staff and/or student responses to the introduction of paper script scanning.
- Experiences of the financial/ environmental/ ethical/ data security and quality assurance implications of the digitisation of paper scripts.
- Accessibility and equity considerations of the adoption of paper script scanning.
- Experiences of integrating script scanning technology with existing tools (eg. Virtual Learning Environments).
Following the presentations speakers and attendees are invited to stay to take part in an open discussion on this topic where you can share your thoughts, concerns and progress in the area of paper script scanning.
