This October, AmplifyFE marks a significant milestone: five years of empowering professionals across Further Education, Skills, and Vocational Education. To commemorate the occasion, the network, led in partnership by the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) and Ufi VocTech Trust, has published the AmplifyFE Impact Report 2025, a comprehensive reflection on its journey, achievements, and future ambitions.
Since its launch in 2020, AmplifyFE has grown into a vibrant UK-wide community of practice, connecting over 3,700 professionals and amplifying digital learning, teaching, and assessment across vocational education. The network plays a vital role in fostering collaboration, supporting innovation, and strengthening sector capacity.
Highlights from the 2025 Impact Report include:
- 371 Communities of Practice mapped, a 271% increase since launch
- 292 events annually amplified via the FE Diary of Events, viewed over 4,000 times
- Community Space contributions: 39 blog posts, 24 podcasts, 26 webinars, and 50 newsletters
- Social media growth: 52% increase in followers and 172% rise in mailing list subscribers
- New AI-focused case studies spotlighting innovation in ESOL, prison education, and college-based practice
AmplifyFE continues to thrive thanks to the strategic leadership of ALT and the ongoing support of Ufi VocTech Trust. The network’s collaborative ethos links educators with developers and technologists, enabling feedback loops and trials of emerging tools. It also informs policy and advocacy, aligning with ALT’s mission to advance learning technology across sectors.
