Last month we issued a call for volunteers to join a Working Group to lead a pilot of in-house accreditation of ALT’s CMALT scheme.
Our overall aim for the pilot is to enable Member Organisations to accredit CMALT internally and help meet the increasing demand across the sector for professional recognition via Associate CMALT and CMALT pathways.

We are seeking volunteers to join a Working Group to lead a pilot of in-house accreditation of ALT’s CMALT scheme.
Our overall aim is to enable Member Organisations to accredit CMALT internally and help meet the increasing demand across the sector for professional recognition via Associate CMALT and CMALT pathways.
The CMALT framework is mapped to a number of professional competency frameworks, providing practical advice on how to prepare your portfolio if you already have other professional accreditations.

This 1 day standalone workshop has specifically been developed to help you fast track your portfolio completion and provides tailored support for CMALT candidates through both live sessions and asynchronous activities. Please note you must already be registered as either an ACMALT, CMALT or SCMALT candidate in order to attend this session.
Work to establish ALT’s new ethical framework has progressed well since October 2020 and we are now in the final weeks of the first phase of development. Following the initial period of establishing the working group and holding regular meetings, we have collected input and feedback which will inform the next phase of work. From March to September 2021, we have been working to draft, consult on and then finalise the framework and tools for launch at the Annual Conference in September.

Our working group now has 85+ members including learners and representation from industry and continues to be led by ALT's Trustees Bella Abrams, Sharon Flynn and Natalie Lafferty.
