The Association for Learning Technology (ALT) is delighted to share the schedule of events for CMALT Week 2025, 28 April - 2 May, a week long event dedicated to celebrating the CMALT Accreditation Framework, supporting CMALT candidates and assessors, and welcoming new certified members.
Welcome to CMALT Week 2025! We’re excited to kick off a week dedicated to supporting your professional development. Whether you're considering CMALT accreditation, are already working towards it, or want to know more about advancing your professional development, CMALT Week is your opportunity to learn, grow, and engage with the community.
ALT is pleased to announce the launch of our very first CMALT Committee, in response to the continuing growth of the number of Certified Members and CMALT Assessors.
In response to the growing number of Certified Members and CMALT Assessors, ALT plans to launch a CMALT Committee in 2024.
The committee will contribute to the improvement of the CMALT accreditation scheme and assessment process, and we are currently looking for Members to form this committee.
Newly accredited CMALT holders were celebrated at the ALT CMALT Ceremony earlier this month, as part of the Annual Conference 2023. The ceremony celebrated Certified Members of ALT attending the conference, who have achieved or renewed their CMALT accreditation in the last year, or during the pandemic for those who hadn't had a chance to attend an in-person ceremony. Alongside Certified Members of ALT, Associate Certified Members of ALT and Senior Certified Members of ALT were also awarded.
Our overall aim is to enable Member Organisations to accredit CMALT internally and help meet the increasing demand across the sector for professional recognition via Associate CMALT and CMALT pathways.
Following a very good response to the open call issued at the start of the year, we have the following organisations in our pilot group:

The work of the group is underway and we are delighted to have our Members involvement and input. The work of the group has begun with a consultation phase, from March to late May 2023. During the phase our aim is to map out the progress, identify questions and concerns and collect your input and experiences of similar schemes. Most of the work will take place online at your own pace, via shared documents and surveys.
