As we start the new year, we want to remind you that registration for ALTC25 Revisited is still open. This one‑day online event, taking place on 25 February 2026, builds on the momentum of the ALT Annual Conference 2025 and offers an opportunity for the community to come back together, revisit key themes, explore new insights, and continue the conversations that began in Glasgow last October. The event provides space to extend these discussions, bring in new perspectives, and welcome voices who were not able to join us at the conference.
To help build momentum ahead of ALTC25 Revisited, the ALTC Radio Rewind series will be running throughout January and February, offering a weekly chance to reconnect with the voices and creativity that shaped ALTC25.
A second look at “Stronger Foundations, Broader Horizons”
ALTC25 Revisited revisits the 2025 conference theme, “Stronger Foundations, Broader Horizons,” which explored how robust digital practice can support more imaginative, inclusive, and future‑focused approaches to education. February’s event invites both returning delegates and first‑time participants to reflect on how these ideas have evolved and how they can be put into practice in 2026.
Programme highlights: digital practice, accessibility, AI, XR, and More
The developing programme brings together a full day of presentations, discussions, and parallel sessions covering:
- Digital practice and accessibility
- User experience and virtual learning environments
- Video assessment and XR
- Open education
- Critical perspectives on AI
These strands reflect the breadth of work showcased at ALTC25 and the sector’s ongoing commitment to purposeful, people‑centred digital transformation.
The programme continues to evolve, with updated sessions being added throughout January. Explore the programme here.
Final call for contributions
For those wishing to share their work, there is still a short window to submit proposals. ALT is accepting contributions across workshops, presentations, interactive discussions, and digital posters until 30 January 2026. This is an opportunity to help shape the conversation and bring fresh perspectives to the community.
Why attend?
ALTC25 Revisited is designed for anyone working within digital education, educators, technologists, leaders, researchers, and practitioners across sectors. Whether you want to revisit ideas that inspired you at ALTC25 or join the conversation for the first time, the event offers:
- A space to reconnect with colleagues and collaborators
- Fresh insights into emerging practice
- Opportunities to explore practical approaches to digital transformation
- A flexible, accessible online format
This is a chance to reconnect, revisit, and reimagine the ideas that shaped ALTC25, and to continue building stronger, more equitable digital foundations for the future.
