The Week of VocTech returns from 16–20 March 2026 with a free programme of online and in‑person events exploring how digital technology is transforming vocational learning across the UK. Now in its fifth year, the week brings together innovators, employers, educators, investors and policymakers for five days of insight, discussion and hands‑on exploration.
As part of Monday’s programme, ALT is hosting an interactive online session looking ahead to the future of AmplifyFE and how the network continues to champion digital innovation across FE and vocational education.
What next for AmplifyFE and ALT?
Monday 16 March 2026, 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM (online)
AmplifyFE connects more than 3,500 professionals across Further Education and Vocational Education. Since 2020, the network has brought together communities of practice focused on digital learning, teaching and assessment, helping vocational educators develop and share the digital and pedagogical skills needed to support adult learners at scale.
Through the collaboration between the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) and Ufi VocTech Trust, AmplifyFE provides a space for professionals to share, collaborate and learn from one another.
This session explores the next phase of the network and how individuals and organisations can get involved.
In the session, you’ll learn:
- How to engage with the AmplifyFE community
- The benefits of CMALT accreditation for professional development
- How to get your initiative featured on the UK map of FE and VocTech communities
- Upcoming opportunities to contribute to the network’s growth
The session will be chaired by Joe Wilson, Trustee of the Association for Learning Technology and Educational Consultant.
