Trustee Elections - Voting Now Open
Voting to elect two new Trustees opened yesterday, 25th July 2022.
The election will be carried out for ALT by the Electoral Reform Services. Eligible Members will receive voting instructions via email. Voting closes at 12 noon on Tuesday 16th August 2022.
Enhancing our governance
The Board of Trustees has completed a year long review of our governance arrangements in order to ensure that our practice reflects the Charity Governance Code, which was updated at the end of 2020. The Board started planning for the review in February 2021 and the initial operational review was completed by the staff team in the subsequent six months.
Supporting Members during industrial action 2021
We are taking action to support ALT Members who are taking part in forthcoming strike action at universities in the UK, from 1st - 3rd December 2021.
We have reviewed our activities and events as well as deadlines for participation as follows:

Reviewed all deadlines for the ALT Winter Conference;
Annual Report
ALT's financial year runs from 1 February to 31 January and we are required to submit our annual report and accounts to the Charity Commission by 30 November.
