Following the publication of revised conditions of registration relating to the quality of courses which came into force on 1 May 2022, the Office for Students (OfS) announced a review of blended learning in higher education.
Digital skills are essential in today’s workplace, as there are few jobs that don’t require these skills, yet employers report a shortage of digital skills. It is therefore vital for teachers to expand the digital skills of their learners.
CMALT, ALT’s Certified Membership scheme, is a peer-based professional accreditation scheme developed by ALT to enable people whose work involves learning technology to:

Incorporating digital learning into teaching is becoming ever more important in all areas of education. We are excited to announce that the well-received Blended Learning Essentials course for the Vocational Education and Training sector, commissioned by the Ufi Charitable Trust, will be offered again this year.
Blended Learning Essentials is an open course for Vocational Education and Training funded by the Ufi Trust and delivered on Futurelearn.
