Open Education Week [2] takes place 7th-11th March 2016 and there is a lot going on across our community. To help you find out how ALT is supporting Open Education Week and open education in general here are some highlights:

• Open Education Special Interest Group: if you are interested in Open Education this might be the Special Interest Group for you. Open to all, you can join now [3];
• OER16 Conference on Open Culture: taking place just a month after Open Education Week, 19-20 April in Edinburgh, it's not too late to register to attend [4];
• Webinars open to all taking place in and around Open Education Week include ALT Community Call: John Couperthwaite on making sense of learning analytics (3 March), OESIG webinar: What next for JISC and UKOER in a post-Jorum world? (7 March), FELTAG SIG webinar: Summary of Skills Funding Agency actions from the FELTAG report (8 March) and OESIG webinar: 'Transforming OER into accessible OER' (9 March) - for all webinars visit our events page [5];
• Why not share your news and views about Open Education Week and other topics on our #altc blog [6]; 
• Starting on 7 March is Blended Learning Essentials, an open course on Futurelearn, which we support with a consortium of partners. If you are looking for flexible CPD, have a look at the course website and sign up [7];
• Upload and share resources in the ALT Open Access Repository [8];
• Visit ALT's Open Access journal Research in Learning Technology [9] and volunteer to become a reviewer by signing up for an account.

As you can see, there's plenty to get involved with during Open Education Week and beyond.
