Professor Lesley Diack
Professor Lesley Diack is responsible for the development of Technology Enhanced Learning and Collaborative Practice at the School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences of the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland. For the last 12 years she has been actively working on and researching both. She was the principal investigator on the Scottish Government funded IPE project and author of the 2008 report. She has worked on a number of other funded IPE and education projects totalling over £1m including projects with Police Scotland, Cancer Link Aberdeen and the North (Clan), Janssen, and with collaborators in Japan and Qatar. She is one of only a few Principal Fellows of the Higher Education Academy in Scotland. She has presented widely on education and technology topics at a number of national and international conferences as well as publishing many articles on both including a chapter on ‘Interaction with other healthcare professionals and patients’ in Jason Hall ed. Professor Amanda Jefferies
Dr Amanda Jefferies is a Professor in Technology Enhanced Learning in the School of Computer Science at the University of Hertfordshire, where she leads the Technology Supported Learning Research group. Her research interests relate to students’ experiences of using technology to support their learning and the development of supportive pedagogies and interfaces. She has led two JISC funded projects in the UK in this area. In recognition of her extensive national and international engagement to promote an excellent student experience in her teaching and research, she was awarded a UK National Teaching Fellowship in 2011.

Dr Fiona Smart
Dr Fiona Smart is a Senior Lecturer and Senior Teaching Fellow at Edinburgh Napier University where she works in the Department of Learning and Teaching Enhancement. Fiona is a Higher Education Academy Associate and a Senior Fellow of the HEA. Fiona is an Executive Member of the Scottish Higher Education Developers group. At the University, Fiona is the Deputy Programme Leader for the MSC Blended and Online Education; she is also leads the University’s UKPSF scheme and is currently managing a University-wide Programme Focused to Assessment and Feedback project. Her scholarly development centres on learning and its enhancement, through the use of agile curricula and the thoughtful, evidenced-based employment of technology. Her own research is concerned with using poetic transcription to facilitate reflective practice in a group context.
Associate Professor Gail Wilson
Gail is Associate Professor and Director, Centre for Teaching and Learning, Southern Cross University, Australia. Gail is a member of a number of Australian and overseas journal review panels, and currently serves on editorial boards for two journals - the Australasian Journal of Educational Technology (AJET) and Research in Learning Technology. From 2012 – 2014 she was a member of a publications team who edited the ALT annual research conference papers and she has served also on the ALT conference program committee. She is also a member of HERDSA and ASCILITE in Australia and held a position on the HERDSA Executive for six years.
