On Tuesday, 10 September (1.55pm), the ALT conference (altc2013) will have a FELTAG open consultation session at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham.
This session will be led by members of FELTAG, the Further Education Learning Technology Action Group convened by Matthew Hancock, MP, Minister for Skills, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. The work of FELTAG is focused on making practical recommendations to enhance the effective use of technology in learning, teaching and assessment in the FE sector.
This open session will enable participants to offer ideas and provide feedback on key issues, including barriers to innovation, quality assurance and inspection, teacher training and development, capacity building and new technological developments.
Refreshments, sponsored by Toshiba, will be available before and after the session during informal time for networking.
