ALT West Midlands meeting - It's all in the mix: new blended learning opportunities for educators

Booking is now open for the rescheduled ALT West Midlands regional group meeting at the University of Birmingham on Wednesday 28 February.

From MOOCs, to the flipped classroom, to hybrid and micro learning, blended learning in all of its diverse forms plays a significant part in the life of most educators and those who support them. It challenges us to examine and evaluate our pedagogy and our learning spaces and even our professional identity as it can impact at every level of our practice.

So, join us for an opportunity to learn more from colleagues at other regional Universities and Colleges, and share your own experiences too. A full agenda will be released later in the month, but we already have 2 fantastic sessions scheduled which will be presented by colleagues from Aston University: Erupt – a tour of a collaborative online learning space - and Genius Hour – an overview of an embedded, accredited module which develops learners' skills and knowledge within an independent, self-guided project.

Registration is free, but places are limited.
