ALT's activities are led by three main operational committees, each of which is chaired by an ALT Trustee, and supported by a member of the ALT staff team. 

The Membership Development Committee (MDC) has oversight of ALT’s activities, and aims to support and develop its community of members, to advise on the development of ALT’s community of members, and to advise and be advised by ALT’s other committees on matters pertaining to ALT’s membership.
