An opportunity to hear about open practices in education and to discuss barriers to adoption as part of Open Education week 2019.

We will be joined by Shona Whyte, Associate Professor of English at Université Nice Sophia Antipolis, France who will share her findings from research into teacher adoption of open practices. Her presentation is entitled: Adopting open practices in schools: a CALL teacher education study.

We will then facilitate a discussion around barriers to adoption of open practices amongst teachers in different contexts and welcome your experiences and tips for supporting adoption.
