Membership renewal

Please note that we have made changes to our fee structure for 2012/2013.


To renew your membership or find out when renewal is due, first of all please log-in to your account (unless you are already signed in, which you can tell by looking to the top right of this page, where, if you are signed in, you will see "Welcome back" followed by your user name). Forgotten your username or password? Request a new password here.


Renewal for individuals

All memberships for individuals (Ordinary, Certified and Associate Members) are renewed annually, usually one year after the date on which you joined or the date of the last renewal. To find out how much you membership costs and whether you are eligible for a discounted rate refer to our membership fees pages.

If you have not previously renewed your membership online, we will send you instructions via email (including the link to the renewal form) in advance of your membership expiry date.

If you have previously renewed online, you can renew your membership by logging into your account, going to your dashboard and clicking on the "renew now" link next to your membership.


Renewal for organisations including sponsors

All memberships held by organisations, including Sponsoring Memberships, fall due 1 February annually. Although we encourage you to renew your membership online, you can also choose to pay your renewal via invoice when completing the online form and provide us with a purchase order number.

If you have not previously renewed your membership online, we will send you instructions via email (including the link to the renewal form) in advance of your membership expiry date.

If you have previously renewed online, you can renew your membership by logging into your account, going to your dashboard and clicking on the "renew now" link next to your membership.


Ways to pay

  • Online payments:
    You can join ALT as a member or renew your membership online using our secure payment processessor. You will automatically receive a receipt for your payment and a confirmation e-mail.
  • Other ways to pay:
    If you are unable to pay online, we can invoice you or your organisation. If you would like to pay by invoice please select the 'Pay by invoice' option when completing the online form. You will then receive an invoice attached to your confirmation email. Note that individuals wishing to pay via invoice may incurr an additional processing charge of £7.00. Unfortunately we can no longer accept payment by Direct Debit or cheque.
