Monday evening - pre conference buffet

The opening of the exhibition will be accompanied by a buffet for delegates and exhibitors at 1930 in the Exhibition area.

Tuesday evening - meal on campus

An evening meal will be available on campus for those who want it. ALT covers this cost but only for those who tell us that they want to attend. For this reason you are asked to confirm your attendance at time of booking. Tuesday's meal will be served in the Restaurant near to the Exhibition area.

Tuesday evening social option - "Shuffle and Stomp"

Last year we "ceilidhed"....now its time to line dance! Come and shuffle, weave and rock with our guest teachers for the evening. More information on this social event will be posted here in due course.

Wednesday evening - Conference Gala Dinner

The Wednesday Gala Dinner event will announce the winners of this year's Epigeum award, the 2009 Learning Technologist of the Year Award and the 2009 Jorum Learning & Teaching Competition (previously known as the Learning Object Competition).

The 2009 Gala Dinner will be a very special event. Last year's dinner showcased the outstanding capabilities of Yorkshire's catering and hospitality students, and without doubt provided conference delegates with an evening to remember.

ALT will be repeating this format of entertainment with joint support from The Sheffield College and The Manchester College, together with a Civic drinks reception at the Manchester Town Hall kindly sponsored by the newly formed JISC Services Company.
