Major sponsorship

Entitlements

All major sponsors will have the following entitlements including:

• Exhibition space of 2m x 3m;
• Complementary registration for 2 people to attend the whole conference including social events, and for up to 2 additional people to attend the conference dinner;
• Prominent identification as a major sponsor on all conference printed material, and in all media releases relating to the event.

A limited number of sponsored presentation slots have been reserved on the ALT-C Programme.

Once sponsorship has been agreed we will be looking to arrange for some major sponsors to be associated with a particular aspect of the conference. For example: for our 2003 conference in Sheffield one organisation put their brand on 'ALT Peculiar', the 10th anniversary beer which was created specially for us by a Sheffield brewery; for our 2004 conference in Exeter one organisation sponsored the 'internet cafe', whilst another sponsored the opening conference reception; for our 2005 conference our host venue sponsored the wireless network and for 2006 in Edinburgh one sponsor provided sponsorship for the video-conferencing facilities.

Costs

Major sponsorship costs £5,800, with existing corporate/sponsoring members, listed on the ALT home page, entitled to a discount, bringing the cost down to £4,600.

Other sponsorship

ALT-C 2007 Conference Gala Dinner

For 2007 ALT will be offering one extra sponsorship opportunity: the sole and highly visible sponsorship of the Conference Gala Dinner. The rate for this will be negotiable, but ALT would expect it to be in the region of £12,500. Please contact email Seb Schmoller, ALT's Executive Secretary, in the first instance to express your interest.
