Submissions and IDs

The PDF below details all submissions that ALT received for ALT-C 2007. They are listed alphabetically by title together with their IDs, original session type and original theme. Should you have any questions or queries, following the automated responses that were sent mid-May, please contact ALT.

Categories of submissions for ALT-C 2007

We welcome three types of submission:

• Research papers for publication in the peer-reviewed Proceedings of ALT-C 2007 (allocated an ISBN) - up to 5000 words;
• Abstracts for short papers, symposia and workshops - up to 500 words;
• Abstracts for demonstrations and posters - up to 300 words.

Information for submitters

• The closing date for submitting Research Papers is 23 February 2007.
• The closing date for submitting Abstracts of short papers, symposia, workshops, demonstrations and posters is 5 March 2007, 0900 (GMT).

All primary contacts will be informed of their proposal status by 18 May 2007.

ALT-C 2007 conference themes

ALT-C 2007 will feature four themes, capturing the main strands of development current in the field.

• Learning and internationalism: learning across cultures, learning technology for a multicultural society;
• Learning Technology for the social network generation: learning with blogs, wikis and multiplayer games, new cultures of learning, integrating formal and informal learning;
• Designing learning spaces: mobile, pervasive and embedded technologies for learning, technology-enhanced learning spaces;
• Large-scale implementation: distance learning, networked learning, policy and infrastructure for technology-enhanced learning.

Each submission must address at least two of the following:

• theory of learning and technology;
• innovative practice;
• evaluation.

Guidelines for all submission types
