What are the on campus accommodation costs?

Accommodation is not included in the fees but available at an extra cost through ALT's online booking service. Rooms are available at a cost of £65 (single rate per night).

We strongly recommend that University hall accommodation is booked at the same time as registering for your place at the conference. Fees must be paid with registration otherwise hall accommodation will not be reserved for you.

What if I want to stay off campus?

A varied selection of hotel accommodation has been arranged by ALT through Travelocity Business and is available nearby, at preferential rates. This is separate from the ALT Conference registration service. We strongly recommend that this type of accommodation is booked after your place at the conference has been confirmed.

When can I get into my room?

Delegates can check into their accommodation from 1400 onwards. On arrival, delegates will be allocated a bedroom and issued with their key/swipe card which must be returned upon departure as per instructions given in the joining instructions.

Is there a luggage store near to my accommodation?

Luggage may be left temporarily in a number of areas:

• the ALT conference cloakroom in the East Midlands Conference Centre;
• the luggage stores located at your halls.

What facilities are available within the accommodation?

Tea and Coffee facilities are available within the bedrooms along with a towel and toiletries. Irons and ironing boards are also available from reception. Delegates can also use the leisure facilities on campus, times and full details are available at the halls.

Is there disabled accommodation?

A number of specially-adapted rooms are available, all en-suite, which are wheelchair-accessible and should be appropriate for most major physical disabilities. Please contact ALT should you require further information or to reserve one of these rooms.

Where is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served each morning in the Hall of your accommodation block.
