Monday evening - pre-conference buffet

The opening of the exhibition will be accompanied by a buffet for delegates and exhibitors at 1830 in the James Watt centre.

Tuesday evening - the choice is yours:

Ghost and torture Tour in Edinburgh's city centre **NB This social event is now fully booked.**
Step back in time to Edinburgh's grisly past - learn about the characters that once stalked the cobbled streets of Edinburgh and hear the terrifying true stories unfold. You will then be taken underground to see a working witches' pagan temple, where you will enter the haunted vault, home of the malevolent 'South Bridge Poltergeist'. The night will finish with a private bar and complimentary discounted drink in Scotland's most haunted pub, the 'Nicol Edwards'.
(An evening meal on campus will be provided prior to this social event together with ticketed transport to and from the city centre.)

Come and 'strip the willow' and be part of the 'packhorse rant'! A live ceilidh band with caller will provide the evening's entertainment and guide you through some of the well known Celtic dances.

Explore Scotland's capital at your own leisure
Edinburgh's got it all. A variety of restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs are at hand until the wee hours of the morning, and together with classical concerts and exhibitions, to cutting edge comedy and fantastic theatre, you really will be spoilt for choice.
(Please note for delegates who choose this social option an evening meal will be provided. However, it is the delegate's responsibility to arrange transport to and from the campus.)

Wednesday evening - Conference dinner

A drinks reception and splendid three-course dinner with wine will be served at the Dynamic Earth Centre. This impressive venue is situated in the heart of Edinburgh at the foot of Arthur's Seat, adjacent to the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the site of the new Scottish Parliament. With its magnificent translucent roof and glass walls, the dramatic setting of the Stratosphere will ensure the evening to be unique and above all, memorable.

To experience tropical rainstorms and marvel at a real iceberg, enter the 'The Earthscapes' where after dinner drinks will be served within the galleries of the attraction, including the Rainforest, Polar region, Oceans gallery and the prehistoric Casualties and Survivors.

Thursday lunch - close of Conference

A buffet lunch will be provided upon request at time of booking.
